About Us

Free, fair and private spinner tools for classrooms, giveaways, teams and everyday decisions.

Why We Built Wheel of Names

Wheel of Names (wheel-of-names.online) started with a simple idea: picking a random name should be quick, fair and fun – without sign-ups, pop-ups or hidden tricks. We wanted a spinner that teachers could trust in front of a class, that streamers could use live, and that anyone could open on a phone in seconds.

So we built a wheel that shows you the exact odds of every entry, records every result with a Draw ID, and keeps your lists in your own browser instead of on our servers.

What We Believe

Fairness first

Results use your browser’s cryptographic random generator. The only way to change chances is with visible weights.

Privacy by design

Your names stay on your device. No account is needed to use any of our tools.

Free for everyone

Every feature – weights, multiple winners, teams, exports – is free.

Built to be useful

We add features people actually ask for, like odds tables, results downloads and ready-made wheels.

Our Tools

Start with the main wheel of names, or try a specialised wheel: the yes or no wheel, decision wheel, random name generator, list randomizer, and team wheels for the NFL and NBA.
